Golf Outing for Two or Four or Golf Camp with Optional Summer Membership at Jake Gaither Golf Course (Up to 56% Off)

Golf parallels life in that the only way to escape rough patches is through aggressively swinging a club at something. Power through obstacles with this Groupon.

Choose from Four Options

  • $20 for an 18-hole golf outing with cart rental for two (a $40 value)
  • $35 for an 18-hole golf outing with cart rental for four (an $80 value)
  • $30 for one week of junior golf camp (a $60 value)
  • $45 for one week of junior golf camp and junior membership for the summer (a $100 value)

During junior camp, young golfers ages 8?17 learn the rules of golf, etiquette, and value of sportsmanship while improving basic skills through on-course instruction. Each day begins at 8 a.m. and lasts until noon, with snacks and lunch provided. Customers choose camps from June 4?6, June 18?20, July 9?11, or July 23?25.

Junior membership grants golfers unlimited greens fees for themselves and one adult, as long as the adult rents a cart ($10). The membership period lasts through August 31, 2012.

Jake Gaither Golf Course

Originally sculpted into the landscape in 1956 and renovated in 1998, Jake Gaither Golf Course invites golfers to launch golf balls into lower orbit from Tifway 419 Bermudagrass fairways onto contoured Tifdwarf greens. Players encounter a meandering stream and 12 sand traps as they make their way through all nine holes of the Sonny Hay design, strategically placed to lure stray golf balls and any golfer who mistakes his putter for a metal detector.

Course at a Glance:

  • 9-hole, par 36 course
  • Total length of 3,109 yards from the back tees
  • Course rating of 69.8 from the back tees
  • Course slope of 127 from the back tees

The Groupon Guide to: Imaginary Friends

Even the rare popular, well-adjusted person might lack a confidante to enable their own shameful, suppressed neuroses. Craft the perfect imaginary friend by choosing one of the fictitious figments from Column A and pairing it with one of the memorable monikers from Column B:

Column A:
? Alligator in a top hat
? A big mound of hair with dewy, paper-plate-size eyeballs
? Empowering female role model who's as quick with her wit as she is with her dagger
? Lively, animate teddy bear stuffed tightly with cash
? A clown, for any child who is still entertained by clowns

Column B:
? Mr. Huggencuddle
? Crunchy Clementine
? Sheriff Bubbles
? Bond? James Bond? New Stepdad, James Bond
? The Glumpster
